Glenda May Bridgeman

Glenda May Bridgeman of Leasburg, Missouri was born on December 18, 1954, in Steelville, Missouri to Cecil and Venita L. (Harmon) Midyett. She left this life peacefully on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Cuba Manor at the age of 69.

Glenda Midyett was united in marriage to Lester L. Bridgeman on October 21, 1972, in Cuba, Missouri. To this union three children were born Rebecca Sue, Barbara and Steven.

Glenda worked as a clerk and was a longtime member of Cherryville Church of God. She loved taking care of her home, family and in her spare time, she enjoyed word search puzzles.

Glenda is preceded in death by her father Cecil Midyett; six brothers-in-law Wayne Bridgeman, Johnny and wife Teri Bridgeman, Carl Bridgeman, Lawrence Bridgeman and Rodger E, Bridgeman, Sr., Richard Bridgeman; two sisters-in-law Lola Mae Holland and Donna Midyett.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband Lester L. Bridgeman; three children Rebecca Sue and husband Richard Courtway of Hermann, Barbara Ann and husband Brian Hartmann of St. Louis, Steven and fiancé Jennifer Bridgeman of Cuba; mother Venita L. (Harmon) Humphrey of Chetopa, Kansas; four brothers and sisters Gary Midyett of Sullivan, Jerry and wife Pam Midyett of Chetopa, Kansas, Patty Pranker of Parsons Kansas, Sue and husband Kevin Harms of Harwood; aunt Tessie Head of Steelville; four brothers-in-law Orville and wife Lois Bridgeman of Newbury Park, California, Haskell and wife Linda Bridgeman, Larry and wife Wanda Bridgeman, Clifford and wife Delphia Bridgeman   all of Cuba; six sisters-in-law Stella and husband Wilbert Buchka, Beverly and husband Jay Hanes, Sharon and husband Dallas Britton, Norma Bridgeman, Brenda Bridgeman all of Cuba, Betty Bridgeman of Parsons, Kansas; one special ‘uncle - brother-in-law’ Bud Bridgeman of Thousand Oaks, California; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

 Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

 Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Corbett and Pastor Derik Ruble, officiating.

 Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.

 The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the family of Glenda May Bridgeman.
