Geraldine L. 'Geri' Collias

Geraldine L. "Geri" Collias (nee: Robinson) of Sullivan, Missouri was born February 15, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Friday, June 1, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri at the age of 72. Geri was united in marriage to Jean N. Collias, Sr. on March 15, 1957 and to this union four children were born Jean N. Jr., Theodore E., Maria L. and Melanie. Geri was a retired Registered Nurse having worked at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan and St. Louis, Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, sewing, geneology, gambling, scratch off lottery tickets, going to the horse races and spending time with her family and friends. Geri is preceded in death by her parents Charles Robinson, Bessie Evelyn (Dodd) Schone; one brother Russell Robinson. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her husband Jean N. Collias, Sr. of Sullivan, Missouri; four children Jean N. Collias Jr. of Robertsville, Missouri, Theodore E. and wife Connie Collias of Warrenton, Missouri, Maria L. and husband Edward Potter of Leasburg, Missouri, Melanie and husband Larry Busse of Sullivan, Missouri; one sister Edna Kelso of St. Louis, Missouri; two brother-in-laws Bill and wife Nyla Mae O'Donnell of Mexico, Missouri, Joseph and wife Margaret Collias of St. Louis, Missouri; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Cremation rites were accorded. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday June 23, 2012 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. at the Sullivan Community Center 730 West Main St. Sullivan, Missouri. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to the Sullivan Senior Citizens Center "Support Committee" 730 W. Main St. Sullivan, Missouri 63080.
