Geraldine Ann "Gerrie" Pellet of St. Louis, Missouri formerly of Cuba was born to the union of Lonnie and Evelyn (McBrayer) Going on October 17, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Thursday January 24, 2013 at Delmar Gardens South in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 84. Gerrie and her late husband Glen owned and operated the Dutch Barn Restaurant in Cuba for several years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Cuba, Seminar Club and a former member of the Lemay-Jefferson Barracks Lions Club. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, bowling, cooking, canning and was a former Avon Rep. But most of all she truly enjoyed being mom and grandma. Gerrie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Glen J. Pellet; four sons Richard, David and Robert Christiansen and Paul Pellet. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her four children Michael Christiansen, Carole and husband Bill Renaud, Kathleen "Kathy" and husband Jim Berger, Pamela and husband Steve Auer all of St. Louis, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, aunt, great-aunt and friend of many. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2013 4-8 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, Missouri 63129. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 2:00 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel with Bill Renaud, officiating. Interment will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the Alzheimers Association or Am Heart Hospice. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is Honored to be serving the Pellet family.
