George William Lorraine

George William Lorraine of St. Louis, Missouri formerly of Steelville, Missouri was born Monday, February 28, 1955 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Edward Lorraine and Donna (nee: Bray) Lorraine and left from this life on Monday, May 14, 2007 at the age of 52 years 2 months and 14 days. George served in the United States Army from August of 1972 until August of 1974. After the service George worked as a cement mason for many years in the Steelville and St. Louis area. George was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend of many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Those who are left to mourn his passing but to celebrate a life lived is his parents; Edward Lorraine of Cuba, Missouri and Donna Lorraine of Cuba, Missouri, one daughter Melissa Ann Lorraine of Steelville, Missouri, two sons; Mathew A. and wife Lacey Lorraine of Cuba, Missouri and Mark A. Lorraine of Steelville, Missouri, two brothers; Gerald "Jerry" Lorraine and Timothy Lorraine of Cuba, Missouri, one sister Toni Lafferty of Mansfield, Texas, two grandchildren; Gavin Lorraine and Lance Ybarra, three nieces; Amy Collier, Erron Frazer and Chelsey Lorraine and one nephew Grant Lorraine and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Thursday, May 17th from 5 to 8 PM at Britton Funeral Home, Cuba. Funeral service 11 AM Friday, May 18th with Pastor Allan Miles officiating. Burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, with full military honors. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Lorraine family.
