George David Lotridge

George David Lotridge of Louisburg, Missouri was born on Wednesday, September 26, 1934, in Walnut City, Iowa to the union of Hallie “Pat” and Eunice (Wailes) Lotridge. He left this life on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at his home at the age of 88 years.

Dave was united in marriage to Beverly J. Rash on February 18, 1961. To this union two children were born Lora and Bryan.

Dave honorably served his country in the United States Army. He owned and operated B & D Communications in Hensley, Arkansas for several years, before retiring and moving to Missouri. He never met a stranger, had a kind-gentle heart and was always the one making sure that everyone else was taken care of. He loved being Poppy and spoiling his granddaughters. His interest included woodworking, fishing, hunting, watching western movies and being an avid reader.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents Hallie “Pat” and Eunice (Wailes) Lotridge; two brothers Marvin and Joe Lotridge.

Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife Beverly J. Lotridge of Louisburg; two children Lora Sealock of St. James and Bryan Lotridge of Louisburg; two granddaughters Nikki and husband Ryan Bussell of Cuba, Malori and husband Chris Reiners of Bucyrus; five great-grandchildren Joey Gamblin, Skyler Blair, Levi, Lilly and Lanie Reiners; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

In keeping with his wishes, Dave will be cremated.

A private family service will be held at a later date in Louisburg, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, please adopt a family for the holidays. That will make sure that his memory lives on.
