Gary Steven Adams

Gary Steven Adams of Burfordville was born Saturday, October 11, 1952 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Ralph and Veda (nee: Leslie) Adams and left from this life on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Burfordville, Missouri at the age of 60 years and 15 days. Gary spent his life reading his Bible, believing in God and taking care of others. He had been a caretaker for many different properties and always helped his neighbors. He was known for always being the fun uncle, because he loved kids. He enjoyed bird watching, especially Humming Birds, loved animals and being outside. What he truly loved most was spending time with his children, grandchildren and family. Gary was a loving son, brother, dad, papa, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Gary is preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Veda Adams, two brothers Michael and Brian Adams, one nephew Daniel Adams, one brother-in-law Melvin Makara and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving children Tommy Adams of Pontoon Beach, Illinois and Jackie Adams of Burfordville, Missouri, two grandchildren Daniel Mandelker II and Cecilia Vigdal, three brothers Ralph Adams Jr. of Cuba, Tony and wife Pat Dixon of St. Louis and Martin Adams of Cuba, six sisters Jackie Makara of Cuba, Carolyn and husband Donald Bowolak of St. Louis, Barbara "Jeannie" and husband Michael Zobrist of Cuba, Debbie and husband Michael Evans of St. Louis, Sandra and husband Jim Mendoza and Terri and husband Jim Tyler all of Cuba, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, November 2, 2012 from 11:00 AM till 2:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Graveside service will be at 2:30 PM Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Larry Buettner officiating. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Adams family.
