Garry C. Williams of Cuba, Missouri was born Friday, September 2, 1949 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Clyde C. and May Rose (nee: Eaton) Williams and left from this life on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 58 years 6 months and 29 days. Garry was married to Susan N. Combs and to this union three children was born: Lisa, CJ and Sara. Garry was the owner/operator of CJ's Repair and Refrigeration in Cuba for many years. He graduated in 1989 from Rolla Technical Institute (RTI) with a certificate in HVAC and "The Outstanding Student" award. In his spare time he enjoyed cooking, but Garry always cooked enough for an army. That way he could share with his children, neighbors, friends or anyone in need. He enjoyed listening to Christian music, his dogs "Goliath and Queene" and he was always helping others. But what he enjoyed most was spending time with his family and friends. Garry was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, brother in law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Garry is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and May Rose Williams, two brothers Clyde Leroy Williams and Calvin Whitaker, one sister Doris Jo Walton, one brother in law Carl Mallison and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to celebrate his life is his three children: Lisa Williams and friend Gary Richards, Sr. of Cuba, Garry Curtis Joseph "CJ" Williams of Steelville, Sara and husband Timothy Sellers of Cuba, five grandchildren:Fellicia Powers, Austin Williams, Tyler Williams, Timothy Allen Sellers, Jr. and Heaven Lee Grace Sellers, two special "little" friends Michael and Ryan Maddox, five brothers: Ronald and wife Denise Williams of Leasburg, Wayne Williams of Phoenix, AZ, Cleveland and wife Leoma Whitaker of Cuba, Leamon Whitaker of Albuquerque, NM and Elmer Eugene and wife Judy Whitaker of Steelville, seven sisters: Jackie Williams of St. Louis, Elaine and husband Jim Rowland of St. Louis, Juanita Williams of Florida, Shirley Mallison of Bear Lke, MI, Joyce and husband Allan Hart of Lake City, FL, Kathy and husband Robert Jordan of Marshfield, MO and Judy and husband Jerry Head of Cuba, special niece Kim and husband Jeremey Greaver of St. James, life long friends Johnny Bardo and James Powers and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Visitation Friday, April 4th from 4 till 8 PM at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service 11 AM Saturday, April 5th at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Bud Sanders officiating. Special music for the service "Believe" "Who You'd Be Today" and "Thank You Lord". Honored to be serving as pall bears are Garry "CJ" Williams, Timothy Sellers, Barry Richards, Johnny Bardo, Jerry Head and James Powers. Interment to follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Williams family.
