Frederick C. Palmer, Jr.

Frederick C. Palmer, Jr. of Leasburg, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on October 5, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on April 27, 1949, in Sullivan, Missouri, he was the son of Frederick C. and Elmira (Irvin) Palmer, Sr.

Fred dedicated a significant part of his life to serving in the United States Navy before retiring. He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Leasburg. In his free time, Fred cherished wood burning and building projects, showcasing his creativity and craftsmanship.

Fred is reunited in spirit with his parents, brother Robert Palmer, sister Beverly Dixon, and sister-in-law Betty Palmer. 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda M. (Reiner) Palmer, two sons, Charles (and his wife Stormy Mull) of Ballston Spa, New York, and Jeffery Palmer. He will be fondly remembered by his five grandchildren: Maya Palmer, Eric Mull, Corbin Mull, Elizabeth Mull, and Asa Palmer. Additionally, his two brothers, Marvin (and his wife Barbara) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Ronald Palmer of Cuba, along with his brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Lydia (and Donald Sampson), Janet (and Bob Bouse), and Kurt (and Tammy Reiner), as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends will hold his memory dear.

In accordance with his wishes, Fred will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to serve the family of Frederick C. Palmer, Jr., ensuring that his legacy and spirit live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
