Franklin D. 'Frank' Reid

Franklin D. "Frank" Reid of Leasburg, Missouri formerly of St. Louis, Missouri was born on October 22, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Harold and Irene (Montgomery) Reid and left from this life on Monday, September 5, 2016 at his home at the age of 68. Frank was a retired truck driver for Schnucks Markets in St. Louis. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Frank is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Irene (Montgomery) Reid; one brother Sam Field; one niece Callie Reid. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his wife Evelyn Reid (nee: Trump) of St. Louis, Missouri; one son Mason Reid of Chaffee, Missouri; one grandson Franklin Reid; two brothers Donald Reid of Leasburg, Missouri, Jerry and wife Leona Reid of Bland, Missouri; one sister Barbara and husband Dennis Feld of Akron, Ohio; nieces, nephews and many friends. Graveside service with full military honors will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 9:30 a.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri with Lesa Mizell, officiating. Please meet at the V.A. Administration building parking lot area at 9:15 a.m. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving Frank's family.
