Frank Stephen 'Buzz' Eickhoff

Frank S. "Buzz" Eickhoff of Cuba, Missouri was born on Saturday, January 30, 1932 at Loose Creek, Missouri to the union of Frank J. and Hazel (nee: McDermott) Eickhoff and left from this life on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at his residence in Cuba, Missouri at the age of 76 years 2 months and 18 days. Buzz worked in the maintenance department of Axelson Manufacturing Company, located in St. Louis, Missouri for many years. Buzz enjoyed fishing, hunting, making all flavors of homemade wine, collecting Indian artifacts and little replicas of cars. He spent lots of time with his dog "Princess", his cat "Kitty Cat" and his horse. Buzz enjoyed drawing pictures of animals and eating White Castles. Buzz was a loving son, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, brother in law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Buzz is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Hazel Eickhoff, one sister Margaret Ball, one brother in law Donald Ball and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to celebrate his life, is his three children David and wife Serena Eickhoff of Kansas City, Missouri, Pat Souders of Cuba, Missouri and Frank Eickhoff, two brothers Donald and wife Barbara Eickhoff of Eldon, Missouri and Joseph and wife Linda Stimpel of Jeff City, Missouri, one sister Helen and husband Paul Keilholz of St. Louis, eight grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Tuesday, April 22nd from 5 till 8 PM at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba and Wednesday, April 23rd from 10 till 11 AM at Morton Funeral Home, Linn, Missouri. Funeral service 11 AM Wednesday, April 23rd at Morton Funeral Home with Rev. I.C. Medina officiating. Special music for the service will be Ava Maria, On Eagles Wings and Be Not Afraid. Interment to follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Loose Creek, Missouri. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Eickhoff family.
