Frank J. Hagler of Farmington formerly of Cuba was born to the union of Lonnie W. and Erra (Asbridge) Hagler on May 11, 1919 in Salem, Missouri and left from this life on Thursday, July 29, 2010 in Farmington, Missouri at the age of 91. Frank was united in marriage to Gretchen Kopp on December 7, 1941 and to this union two sons were born John and Bill. Frank was the former owner/operator of Sealtite Company in St. Louis, Missouri and Cuba Lanes in Cuba, Missouri. He was a member of Cuba United Methodist Church and the Indian Hills Mens Club. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, boating, playing cards and board games. Frank is preceded in death by his parents Lonnie W. and Erra (Asbridge) Hagler; wife Gretchen (Kopp) Hagler; two brothers Paul Hagler, Sr. and Jack Hagler; two sisters Daisy Bonebrake and Eloise; other relatives and friends. Those who are left to cherish his memory and to continue his legacy are his two sons John Hagler of Farmington, Missouri, Bill and wife Pat Hagler of Farmington, Missouri; one brother Bobby Mark Hagler of St. Louis, Missouri; three grandchildren Dylan, Mallory and Krista; four great-grandchildren Leah, Camille, Mara and Avery; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Paul Lathum, officiating. Interment will follow at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Hagler family.
