Frank "Frito Frank" Karpowecz, Sr.

Francis Linus Karpowecz, Sr., 81, of Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Cuba, Missouri, departed this life on February 14, 2022, in Fort Myers, Florida.

Frank served in the United States Army and was employed for more than 35 years with Frito-Lay, Inc. as a Route Sales Manager.

Frank is survived by his sons, Frank (Sheila) Karpowecz, Jr. and James “Jim” Karpowecz, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-children, dear nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Karpowecz, his parents, and a brother, Edward Karpowecz.

Mass intention will be on Sunday, June 26, during the 10:00 a.m. mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cuba, Missouri. Visitation will follow from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W. Washington St, Cuba, MO.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in Cuba with Fr. Dan Lueckenotte officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
