Ethan David Voss, a cherished son, brother, and friend, left this world on January 24, 2025, at the young age of 26, surrounded by the comforting presence of his beloved mom and dad, Brad and Renee Voss. Born on September 23, 1998, in Creve Coeur, Missouri, Ethan’s gentle spirit and unwavering perseverance touched the lives of many during his time with us.
As the oldest triplet, Ethan was known for his big blue eyes, calming demeanor and his vibrant zest for life. Despite the challenges he faced, he embraced each day with an infectious smile and a heart full of love. A proud graduate of B.W. Robinson School in 2019, he later thrived at the Choices for People Center in Rolla, where he found joy and purpose.
Ethan had a special bond with his family, often found spending precious early mornings with his mother as they awaited the bus or enjoying the tranquil surroundings of the Cuba Lakes Golf Course, the family business. He was not only a bowling champion but also genuinely enjoyed giving back to his community, dedicating time to deliver Meals on Wheels and participating enthusiastically in the Special Olympics, where he proudly earned several medals.
Holidays were a magical time for Ethan, filled with the warmth of family gatherings, Halloween costumes, and laughter. His passions included listening to country music, the thrill of tractors and trucks, and playful moments with his beloved dogs, Harley, Bobby, and the late John Henry.
Ethan was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents: David L. and Katherine “Kay” Voss, and Tom Fite.
He is lovingly remembered by his surviving family members: his parents, Brad and Renee Voss of Cuba, Gretchen and Brad Branson of Owensville; his siblings, Tyler (Shea) Voss of Union, Kate Voss (Spencer Curran) of Shoreview, Minnesota, Tome (Dylan) Lemons of Jacksonville, NC, Jesse (Hailey) Pohlmann of Ft. Scott, KS, Brandy Pohlmann of Bartlesville, OK, Frank (Cheyenne) Pohlmann of Pawhuska, OK, Justin (Kate) Tubb of Hillsboro, Jeremiah (Elizabeth) Hinch of Owensville, and Terek (Madison) Branson of Owensville. He will also be missed by his grandparents, Marlene (Wayne) Robinson of Springfield, Roger (Kathy) Hopper of Hillsboro, Sally (Frank) Jost of Owensville, along with a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
