Eola M. Fox

Eola M. Fox of Cuba, Missouri, was born to the union of John G. and Ida (Voss) Fox on Friday, September 29, 1916, in Cuba, Missouri, and left from this life on Monday, October 18, 2010, in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 94 years and 19 days. Eola lived in Branson, Missouri, for over 35 years having owned and operated Eola's Card and Gift Store, Dillon & Fox Men's Clothing Store and a Missouri State License Bureau Office for 16 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cuba and a lifetime member of the Cuba Chapter O.E.S. In her spare time she enjoyed embroidery work and in her younger years fishing. Eola is preceded in death by her parents John G. Fox and Ida (Voss) Fox; step-mother Hannah Rodgers-Fox; two sisters Arlene Krewson and Ethel Stein; one brother Irvin Fox. Those who are left to treasure her memory are one niece Donna and husband Ken Bodart of Eureka, Missouri; two nephews Harold Stein of Ballwin, Missouri, Donald and wife Helen Stein of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010, 1:00 p.m. until time of service 3:00 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Pat Gruber, officiating. Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. If desired memorials would be appreciated to the First Presbyterian Church, 701 N. Main St., Cuba, Missouri 65453. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Fox family.
