Elizabeth Marie 'Lizzy' Short-conway

Elizabeth "Lizzy" Marie Short-Conway of Cuba, Missouri was born May 13, 1997 at Centerville, Illinois to the union of Jerry Reeves Miller and Darlene Short and left from this life on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at St. Louis, Missouri at the beautiful young age of 15 years. Lizzy was an 8th grader at the Cuba Middle School. She spent hours texting, facebooking, talking on the phone, spending time with her friends and taking care of her little sisters. She collected Hello Kitty and attended Wednesday evening youth services at Flag Springs Christian Church in St. James. Lizzy loved life, her family, her friends and her Lord. She was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Lizzy is preceded in death by her grandmother Sheila Conway and her aunt Christy Conway and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are parents Darlene and Jerry Conway of Cuba and Jerry Reeves Miller of Illinois, sisters Lacie and Emily of Leasburg, grandparents Sandy and Leon Short of Cuba and Jerry D. Conway and fiancee Mary Osborne of Leasburg, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 2:00 till 4:00 PM Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, MO. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Tony Amato officiating. Special music will be "You Raise Me Up" and "Angels Among Us". In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mizell Funeral Home for funeral expenses. Interment and prayers will be held at the Lea Cemetery, Leasburg, Missouri.
