Edna Mae Halbert (nee: Farrar) of St. Louis, Missouri was born Wednesday, February 4, 1925 at Keysville, Missouri to the union of William Clark and Esther Lola (Nee: Oxendine) Farrar and she left from this life on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 95 years.
Edna spent her life taking care of her home and family. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan. Edna enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and watching the Wheel of Fortune. What she truly loved most in life was spending time with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents William and Esther Farrar, husband Willis Earl Halbert; five siblings Elsie Weaver, Anna Farrar, Mildred Barrett, James Farrar and Mable Farrar and other family and friends.
Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving children William Joseph Halbert of Springfield, Missouri, Richard and wife Diane Halbert of St. Louis, James and wife Bebe Halbert of the Philippines, Pat Helfrich of St. Louis and Leon and wife Tracy Halbert of St. Louis; loving grandma of fourteen grandchildren; great grandma of fourteen great grandchildren; one sister Arnetta Walls of California, Missouri, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Cuba Free Will Baptist Church, 707 Myrtle Avenue, Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 11:00 a.m. at Cuba Free Will Baptist Church, 707 Myrtle Avenue, Cuba.
Interment will follow at Steelville Cemetery, Steelville, Missouri.
If desired, memorials would be appreciated to Lutheran Senior Services - Hospice.
