Dorothy V. Hutter

Dorothy V. Hutter (nee Fachette) of Cuba, Missouri formerly of St. Louis, Missouri was born to the union of John and Marie (Aubuchon) Fachette on May 8, 1912 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at her home in Indian Hills at the age of 95 years 7 months and 4 days. Dorothy was united in marriage to Charles M. Hutter on July 20, 1993 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Des Peres, Missouri. Dorothy retired as an Office Clerk from Consolidated Freight Ways, St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Des Peres, Missouri. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, cooking, fishing and spending time with her family. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents John Fachette and Marie (Aubuchon) Fachette, first husband Charles Maurer, one brother Walter Fachette and one sister Audrey Handing. Those who are left to cherish her memory and to continue her legacy are her husband Charles M. Hutter of Cuba, Missouri; two sons Richard Maurer of Dallas, Texas and Michael Maurer of Cuba, Missouri; one daughter Mariana and husband Erwin Hageman of Oakville, Missouri; five step-children, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation: Friday, December 14, 2007 5-8 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral: Saturday, December 15, 2007 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church 12345 Manchester Road Des Peres, Missouri with Rev. Mark Femmel, officiating.
