Dorothy E. Feuerhelm

Dorothy E. Feuerhelm of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Archie and Esther (nee: Reimers) Feuerhelm on Monday, February 13, 1928 in Waterloo, Iowa. She left from this life on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Cuba Manor at the age of 90 years. Dorothy was an Accountant, having worked in Illinois for several years. She would later become an Accounting Instructor at East Central College. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Dorothy loved to play the organ, go motorcycle riding and horseback riding. What she treasured most in life was spending time with family and friends. Dorothy was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, sister-in-law and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents Archie and Esther (Reimers) Feuerhelm; one brother Berdell Feuerhelm and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her two children Francine and husband Ed Hitzeman of Cuba, Missouri and Donald Britt of Salem, Arkansas; two grandchildren Angie Britt of Missouri and Darilyn Busch of Portland, Oregon; two great-grandchildren Erich and Kira Busch; one sister-in-law Mary Frances Feuerhelm of Peaster, Texas; one niece Vickie and husband Mike Stout of Peaster, Texas; one great-niece Helen Stout of Peaster, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends. There will be no services at this time. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Feuerhelm family.
