Dormalee Chew of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Floyd and Gladys (Pyatt) Green on August 3, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Meramec Nursing Center in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 68. Dormalee was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, cleaning house, trips to Wal-Mart, watching Soap Operas, fishing and spending time with her family and friends. Dormalee is preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Gladys (Pyatt) Green; daughter Jeannie Haney, step-son Robert Chew, Jr., two brothers Dwight Green and Richard Dewayne Green. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her husband Robert E. "Bob" Chew of Cuba, Missouri; one son Randy and wife Susan Chew of Leasburg, Missouri; three step-children Donna Williams and friend Dave Rennick of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Darlene Chew and friend Dewayne Watts of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Mike Chew and friend Cindy Scariano of Hillsboro, Missouri; one brother Donnie Green of Cherryville, Missouri; four grandchildren Austin Chew, Seriae Haney, Crystal Haney and Robert Callahan; step-grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 23, 2011 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 2:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Amos, officiating. Interment will follow at Davisville Cemetery, Davisville, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Chew family.
