Doris Ellen Hoefle of Cuba was born to the union of Merlin Eugene and Dellia Mae (Canegallo) Maynard on September 28, 1942 at Memphis, Tennessee and left from this life on Monday, December 7, 2009 at her home at the age of 67. Doris was united in marriage to Melvin A. Hoefle on December 30, 1961 and to this union three children were born Joseph, Judith and Jeanne. Doris was a homemaker and enjoyed art, cooking, sewing and her animals. Doris is preceded in death by her father Merlin E. Maynard; former husband Melvin A. Hoefle and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to cherish her memory and to continue her legacy are her three children Joseph Hoefle of Kirkwood, Missouri, Judith Burke and Jeanne Hoefle both of Cuba, Missouri; mother and step-father Dellia M. é¢ééMoeé¢éé and Robert Spindell of Florissant, Missouri; Grandson Kegan Burke of Cuba, Missouri; three sisters Helen Quentin of St. Charles, Missouri, Tammy Leistner of Oé¢ééFallon, Missouri and Robyn Davis of New Jersey; two brothers Terry Sauerbrey of Alabama and Kim Sauerbrey of Colorado Springs, Colorado; cousin Howard Joe; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 11, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until time of Remembrance service 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Chapel 1631 Hwy.19, Cuba, Missouri.
