Donna S. (Bach) Schmelz

Donna S. Schmelz of Leasburg, Missouri was born on January 29, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri to Cecil Thomas and Betty L. (Krietlow) Bach. She left this life on Sunday, March 10, 2024, with her family by her side at the age of 69.

Donna was united in marriage to Earl Schmelz, Jr. on March 2, 1973, in Union, Missouri. To this union three children were born Tracy, Tommy and Travis.

Donna graduated from Union High School “Class of 1973” and worked for Wal-Mart for several years. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed decorating, pottery, antiquing, trips to Branson and camping.

Donna is preceded in death by her father Cecil Thomas Bach.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband of fifty-one years Earl Schmelz, Jr. of Leasburg; three children Tracy Schmelz, Tommy and wife Ashley Schmelz, Travis Schmelz all of Cuba; four grandchildren Jessica and husband Cole Feltrop, Aaron and wife Cheyenne Schmelz, Chase Schmelz and Chasidy Schmelz; three great-grandchildren Callen, Sawyer and Paisley; mother Betty L. (Krietlow) Bach of Leasburg; brothers and sister Tom and wife Cheryl Bach of Cuba, Linda and husband Jim Servant of Byrnes Mill, Jim and wife Pam Bach of Cuba, Steve Bach of Cuba; brother-in-law Bill and wife Tina Schmelz of Union; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, 11:30 a.m. at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Todd Holman, officiating.
