Devon Michael Hammock

Devon Michael Hammock of Bourbon, Missouri formerly of Cuba was born October 18, 1991 at St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at his home in Bourbon at the age of 23 years. Devon attended Change of Heart Church in Cuba for several years as a teenager. He played football for the Cuba Wildcats and he graduated from Cuba High School in 2010. Devon enjoyed going camping, floating, texting, taking selfies and working out. Devon spent hours playing X-box, video games, playing paint ball and riding quads. He could always be found at the basketball court hanging out with his friends. What Devon loved most in life was his family and friends. Devon was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, great nephew, cousin, fiancé, soon to be step dad and friend of many. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Devon is preceded in death by his grandparents James E. and Tammy Tinker, Jack and Alice Elledge, Vincent Adams and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy is his mother Bridget Eikermann of St. Charles, Missouri, father and step-mother Randy and Rowena Elledge of Newburg, Missouri, eight brothers and sisters; Kyle Elledge of Rolla, Missouri, Miranda Elledge of Newburg, Missouri, Summer Eikermann of St. Peters, Missouri, Derrick Keller of Sullivan, Missouri, Vanessa Hock of Germany, Shamaine Elledge of Mounds View, Minnesota, Brandon Elledge of Mounds View, Minnesota, and Joseph E. Anore of Newburg, Missouri, grandmother Linda Adams of Mineral Pointe, Missouri, fiancé Adrianna Martinez and her son Devin Martinez of Bourbon, Missouri, uncle of Kinah, Mila and Aimee, nephew, great nephew, cousin and friend of many. Memorial visitation will be held Monday, March 30, 2015 from 5:00 till 7:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba, Missouri. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, March 30, 2015 at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Mizell Funeral Home. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving Devon's family.
