Derek Joseph Eaton

Derek J. Eaton of Leasburg, Missouri was born August 21, 1981 at Farmington, Missouri to the union of Joey Eaton and Tammy (nee: Chilton) Eaton and left from this life on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at the age of 27 years 1 month and 14 days. Derek was a loving son, foster son, brother, grandson, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Derek is preceded in death by his Grandma & Grandpa Eaton, aunt Claudia Helfenstein and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to celebrate his life, is his father Joey Eaton of Farmington,Missouri, his mother Tammy Eaton of Farmington, Missouri, his beloved foster mom and dad Wanda and Jack Powell of Leasburg, Missouri, one sister Jennifer Eaton, grandparents Mike and Jan Chilton of Farmington, Missouri and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Monday, October 6th from 5 till 8 PM at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 7th at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 1215 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis. (Please wear Cardinal Red in memory of Derek.) The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Eaton family.
