Dennis H. Whitworth, of Catawissa, Missouri, was born on August 19, 1942, in Lilbourn, Missouri, to Porter and Pansy (Rawlings) Whitworth. He peacefully passed away at his home on November13, 2024, at the age of 82.

On October 14, 1961, Dennis married Patsy L. Woods in Granite City, Illinois. Together, they raised three children: Joe, Alan Mark, and Ginger, who enriched his life and filled his days with joy.

Dennis dedicated his career to the Chrysler Corporation, where he retired as an Electrician. His passions included fishing along the Osage River, woodworking, and exploring the wonders of astrology.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents and his wife, Patsy L. Whitworth.

Cherishing his memory are his three children: Joe Whitworth of Catawissa, Alan Mark Whitworth of Seattle, Washington, and Ginger Masters, along with her husband Mark, from Smyrna, Georgia. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Jessica Spurgeon and her husband Jesse of Owensville, Jason Whitworth of Jefferson City, and Sorsha, Quindin, and Gabriel Masters of Smyrna, Georgia; two great-grandchildren Eleanor and Emily Spurgeon of Owensville. Additionally, he leaves behind a brother, Gary Whitworth and his wife Patty of Illinois; one sister Linda and husband Chris Williams of North Carolina, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In accordance with his wishes, Dennis will be cremated, and a private family gathering will take place at a later date.
