Denise Kay Williams, a cherished resident of Cuba, Missouri, was born on December 8, 1950, in Benzonia, Michigan. She departed this life on April 6, 2025, at the age of 74 at Cuba Manor.
Denise graduated from Benzie Central High School, Class of 1969. Throughout her life, she worked in various capacities, primarily in factories and restaurants. Before her retirement due to health reasons, she was proudly employed at Dottie’s Restaurant in Cuba. Denise had a zest for life that was evident in her many beloved hobbies, which included playing bingo, treasure hunting at yard sales, knitting, crocheting, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Margaret (Emerick) Williams; her brother Ronald Guinan; and her sisters Donna Long and Wilma King.
Denise leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory, including her daughter Rana and husband Alfred Dotson of Cuba; her two stepsons, Brian Williams of Potosi and Jason Williams of Cuba; two grandsons, Alexander J. Dotson of Cuba and Brett Barton of Rolla; her sister Marlene Schlueter of Benzonia, Michigan; along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In accordance with her wishes, Denise will be cremated, and no services are planned.
The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to serve the family of Denise Kay Williams during this difficult time. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
