Delores 郢邀邜Dee郢邀邝 Marion Turner of Steelville, Missouri was born Monday, November 9, 1931 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Reginald and Marion Louise (nee: McGavock) DeVydt and left from this life on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 77 years 6 months and 19 days. Dee worked in St. Louis at a book binding company many years. Before retiring she worked as a cook at Gibbs Care Center in Steelville. She was a member of Elayer Pentecostal Church of Steelville for many years. Dee enjoyed fishing but what she enjoyed most in life was her family and spending time with them. Dee was a loving daughter, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, step mother, step grandmother, half sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Dee is preceded in death by her parents Reginald and Marion DeVydt and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her loving husband Daniel Turner of the home, four sons Edward and wife Bonnie Hemby of Cuba, Bill and wife Sue Hemby of Jefferson City, Jack and wife Janet Hemby of Dexter, Missouri and Gary and wife Rita Hemby of Wentzville, Missouri, four step children Gladine Turner of Steelville, Daniel Turner of Cuba, Preston and wife Laura Turner of Cherryville and Rodger Turner of Cuba, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren , half brother Donald, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation 5 till 8 PM, Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service 11 AM Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor John Ripley officiating. Special music 郢邀邜I郢邀邙ll Fly Away郢邀邝 and I郢邀邙ll Call it Home郢邀邝 will be provided by Dave and Bonnie Callahan. Interment will follow at the Old Dillard Cemetery, Dillard, Missouri. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Turner family.
