Della Mae Baum of Cuba formerly of Salem was born November 19, 1919 at Stone Hill, Missouri to the union of Ernest C. "Mike" and Lucinda "Cindy" Maledy and left on her journey surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Cuba Manor at the age of 93 years. Della Mae was united in marriage to Stanley L. Gran was there for dance recitals, softball games, parades, musical concerts and kept her promise and was there for high school graduation. She always dressed to the nine, read her bible daily and believed that family was the most important thing on earth. She was a loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, wife, mother, mother-in-law, "Gran", aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt, cousin and a very dear friend. She will be forever remembered and never forgotten by all of us who knew and loved her. "On Wednesday evening as Gran boarded the last train for home, the loved ones surrounding her heard the final note of life's melody and knew in our heart Gran was not singing, simply going aboard. So it's "Good night dear Gran and we'll see you in the morning". All services under the direction of the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba.
