Crystal Gail Proffer of Cuba, Missouri was born on Wednesday, May 23, 1984. She left from this life peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the age of 36 years.
Crystal grew up in Cuba and was a graduate of the Class of 2002. She began working for Country Kitchen as a teen and worked for the Britton Family many years. Crystal had that certain knack that makes for a great waitress! She loved people and made her job a place to bring happiness to those she served! Crystal would later work as a well-liked bartender/server at Frisco's and Rock Fair. She was always known as the life of the party and she enjoyed going floating and traveling. Crystal was dearly loved by her family, who delighted to make her tasty treats and order something new for her to try, just to add a bit of joy to her world during her illness. The little thingsâ¦could make her smile and there are numerous snapshots of captured moments that will become family treasures!
Crystal is preceded in death by her grandparents Herb and Lucille Proffer, Donald Stuart, Sr., Moe, and Joyce Ledbetter.
Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her parents Gail (Jerry Martin) Stuart and David Proffer all of Cuba; five sisters and one brother Jennifer (Travis) Mayberry of St. Louis, Jennifer (Brad) Ray of Cuba, Tim (Samantha) Martin of Rolla, Sara (Wes) Proffer of St. James, Tara (Logan) Glenn of Salem, Trinity Stuart of St. James; grandparents John and Annette Chilton of St. James; aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, nephews, and many friends.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 11:30 a.m. at Adams Cemetery (Adams Cemetery Rd. off Hwy. F) St. James, Missouri with Pastor Josh Sanders, officiating.
