Crystal Bogue Gahr of Gilbert, Arizona, formerly of Cuba, Missouri was born on Friday, September 21, 1973 at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri to the union of Bill and Wanda Bogue. She left from this life on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 10:46 p.m. at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona at the young age of 48 years.
Crystal was a graduate of Cuba High School, Columbia College, Missouri State University and received a Masters in Special Education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She loved being a special education teacher.
She married Eric Gahr in 1990 at the First Baptist Church of Cuba, Missouri. They soon became the proud parents of Nikita and Heather.
Crystal enjoyed vacationing and being in the sun with her family, but her heart also loved each and everyone of her students.
In 2020 they left Missouri and moved to Gilbert, Arizona. Although they missed their families and friends, they enjoyed living in a warmer climate.
Crystal was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, sister-in-law, niece, cousin, teacher and friend. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Dewey and Vivian Ransom and Leo and Alice Bogue, many aunts and uncles.
Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband, Eric Gahr of Gilbert, Arizona; son, Nikita Gahr of St. Charles, Missouri; daughter, Heather Gahr of Gilbert, Arizona; parents, Bill and Wanda Bogue of Cuba, Missouri; sister, Melody and husband Greg Martin of Cuba, Missouri; nephew, Mathew and wife Rachel Brockmeier of Cuba, Missouri; niece, Randi and husband Mark Spurgeon of Cuba, Missouri; mother-in-law, Trudy and husband Don Reed of Sullivan, Missouri; and a host of other other relatives, friends and .
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the Amazing Grace Community Church 4315 Hwy. 19 Cuba, Missouri.
Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the Knights of Columbus Hall 7057 Old Hwy. 66 Cuba, Missouri.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Research Institute or the American Kidney Fund, in Crystal’s memory.
