Clarence 郢邀邜Bill郢邀邝 Lause of Cuba, Missouri was born on March 28, 1932 in Washington, Missouri to the union of William and Sophia (Elbert) Lause and left from this life on Saturday, September 11, 2010 in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 78 years. Bill was a retired pipefitter for Laclede Gas Company in St. Louis, Missouri. He served his Country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. His hobbies included gardening, being outside, hunting, fishing and being a loyal Chicago Cubs Fan. Bill is preceded in death by his parents William and Sophia (Elbert) Lause; step-daughter Joyce Deardeuff; two son-in-laws Phinis Deardeuff and Allen Potter; one brother Maurice Lause; three sisters Hermie Shephard, Paul Lause, Lucille Lause and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory are his wife Louise M. Lause (nee: Gruver)of Cuba, Missouri; four step-children John and wife Tammy Copling of Cuba, Missouri, Judy Gunn of Leasburg, Missouri, Karen and husband Mike Garrison of Cuba, Missouri and Vicky Arnett of House Springs, Missouri; one brother Julius Lause of Sun City, California; nine step-grandchildren, seventeen step-great-grandchildren, two step-great-great-grandchildren, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Jim and wife Verna Gruver of Cuba, Missouri, Arlene Rayle of DeSoto, Missouri, Nellie Studdard of Sullivan, Missouri, Betty and husband Paul Hoskins of Cuba, Missouri, Shirley Gruver of DeSoto, Missouri, Jack and wife Sharon Gruver of Cuba, Missouri; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 5-8 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 11:00 a.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Allen Teal officiating. Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri with full military honors. Memorials would be appreciated to the charity of ones choice. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Lause family.
