Christopher A. 'Chris' Sharp

Christopher "Chris" A. Sharp of Leasburg, Missouri was born March 26, 1966 at Rolla, Missouri to Michael Sharp and Bonnie (nee: Mayes) McSherry and left from this life on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 45 years. Chris was united in marriage to Anne Wild and to this union two children were born Johnathon and Irene. Chris enjoyed playing baseball and the drums when he was younger. If he had his way you would always find him outside, hiking, exploring caves and he was a natural born swimmer. He listened to Rock and Roll and Country music, attended his first Rock Concert at the age of 12, would read the National Geographic magazine cover to cover and was a true "history buff". He was a very talented artist, great cook and collected maps. Chris was a loving son, brother, husband, dad, brother-in-law, son-in-law, nephew, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend of many. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Chris is preceded in death by his step father Douglas McSherry and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving wife Anne Sharp, two children Johnathon and Irene Sharp all of the home, mother Bonnie McSherry of St. Louis, Missouri, father Michael Sharp of Delaware, one brother John Sharp of Kirksville, Missouri, three sisters Erin and husband Erik Luckou of Alexandria, Virginia, Kelly and husband Gary Wood of St. Louis, Missouri and Tara and husband Taylor Bear of Joplin, Missouri, mother-in-law and father-in-law Dale Sr. and Audrey Wild of Leasburg, Missouri, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Dale Wild Jr. of Leasburg, David and wife Tina Wild of Cuba, Michelle and husband Glen Roussin of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, Patrick and wife Kimberly Wild of Leasburg, Kathleen and husband Richard McKnight of Leasburg and Timothy Wild of Leasburg, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousin and friends. Visitation will be 11 AM till 1 PM Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba. Funeral service will be 1 PM Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Mizell Funeral Home with Father James Finder officiating. Interment and prayers will follow at the Lea Cemetery, Leasburg, Missouri. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sharp family. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving Chris' family.
