Charles 'Harpo' Dean Cunningham

Charles Dean "Harpo" Cunningham of Mokane, Missouri was born Monday, October 12, 1964 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Donald and June M. (Nee: Looney) Cunningham. He left from this life on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Riverview Nursing Center, Mokane, Missouri at the age of 53 years. Harpo, as he was known by, had been a Tool & Die Machinist for several years before his health began to decline. He spent hours shooting pool and fishing. His favorite hobby was tinkering on automobiles. What he truly loved most in life was spending time with his family and friends. Harpo was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, great uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents Donald and June Cunningham, one brother Michael Cunningham and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his daughter Lori Cunningham Kelly of Cuba, five brothers Donald Cunningham of St. James, Joseph Cunningham of Coffing, Illinois, Roger Cunningham of Cuba, Ronald and wife Melinda Cunningham of St. James and Edward and wife Janet Cunningham of Steelville, one sister Donna Davis of St. James, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, October 15, 2018 from 1:00 till 4:00 p.m. at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2018 at the Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Don Martin officiating. Special recorded music will be "Stairway to Heaven", "When I Get Where I'm Going" and "Go Tell It on the Mountain". Harpo will be cremated following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations to help with final expenses. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving Harpo's family.
