Chandler Elliot Werley

Chandler Elliot Werley of Cuba was born Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Rolla, Missouri to Caige E. Werley and Abagail S. Edgar. On Friday, October 6, 2017 at Sullivan, he went home to be with Jesus at the precious age of 2 years. Chandler loved all the things boys love; boats, trucks, balls, animals, water, fishing poles, trampolines and his boots. He spent hours watching Paw Patrol and watched the movie "Zootopia" many times. If he got to pick what was for lunch he wanted cheese, hotdogs and mac and cheese or if he was at papa's house he wanted scrambled eggs with ketchup. Chandler wanted to dip almost everything he ate in ranch dressing. But if he truly got his way it was Mt. Dew, candy and popsicles every day. Chandler loved listening to music, especially country and rock. He would dance if there was music playing and when there was a marching band playing, he had to stop and watch but he wanted everyone with him to watch also. If he called your name, he wanted you to answer and if you didn't, he would call your name over and over until you did. He was very independent and wanted to do everything by himself. He would put on and take off his socks and shoes. He wanted to dress himself with no help. He wanted to use the bathroom, talk on the phone and brush his teeth all by himself. Chandler may have only been two, but he was very smart. He knew all his body parts, talked nonstop and was always full of energy, love and always had kisses to give. He was a loving son, grandson, great grandson, nephew, great nephew and cousin. He will be forever loved, treasured and missed by who knew and loved him. Olive, Illinois and Anita Edgar of Cuba, aunts and uncles; Jonnie Werley of Cuba, Tommie Werley of Cuba, Hank Wigger of Cuba, Shayla and husband Alex Roth of St. Louis, Alexis Heisman of Cuba, Steffen Edgar of Cuba, Story Edgar of Cuba and Mira Edgar of Cuba, great aunts, great uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba. Special recorded music will be "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "You are My Sunshine". In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family. Honored to serve as casket bearers will be Caige Werley, TJ Richardson, Robert Heisman and Derrick Wigger. Interment and prayers will follow at the Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving Chandler's family
