Carl Joseph Ingenbohs

Carl Joseph Ingenbohs of South St. Louis County, Missouri was born on October 1, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Frank E. and Olivia A. (Unverferth) Ingenbohs, Sr. and left from this life on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at his home at the age of 58 years. Carl was united in marriage to Kathy Todd on July 7, 1984 in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union two sons were born David Joseph and Brian Edward. Carl was an electrician, having worked for St. Louis Lambert Airport for 25 years, Maryville University for 10 years and most recently for Smith Management Group. During this time, he also owned and operated Century Electrical. Carl enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing golf, working on cars and being a handyman. The most important part of his life was being a husband, dad, brother, uncle and a friend to many. Carl is preceded in death by his parents Frank E. and Olivia A. (Unverferth) Ingenbohs, Sr. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his wife of 32 years Kathy Ingenbohs (nee: Todd); two sons David Joseph and Brian Edward Ingenbohs; one brother Frank E. and wife Debbie Ingenbohs, Jr.; two sisters Theresa and husband Danny Sartori, Christine Williams all of St. Louis, Missouri; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home 7027 Gravois Ave. St. Louis, Missouri 63116. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 10:00 a.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home with Father Leo Spezia, officiating. Interment will follow at S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
