Candice Lynne White of Cuba, Missouri was born Saturday, March 14, 1981 at Washington, Missouri to the union of Joseph White and Carolyn (nee: Vandervoort) Wells and left from this life on Monday, September 29, 2008 at Rolla, Missouri at the age of 27 years 6 months and 15 days. Candice enjoyed music of all kinds, rode trips to the Lake of the Ozarks, singing, cooking, shopping and hanging out with her friends. But what was the most important thing to her was family and spending time with them. Candice was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, great niece, great-great niece, cousin, Goddaughter, "aunt to be" and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Candice is preceded in death by her grandmother Loretta White and grandfathers William Vandervoort and Dempsey Wells and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her two beautiful sons Cameron William Britt and Zachery Joseph Thurmond, parents Joseph M. White of Bourbon and Carolyn and husband Charles Wells of Cuba, one sister Amanda Barnett of Columbia, Missouri, two half-sisters Gail White of Cottage Hills, Illinois and Alyssa White of Bourbon, Missouri, grandparents Leila Vandervoort of Cuba, Joseph White of Leasburg and Jackie Wells of Cuba, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation Thursday, October 2nd from 5 till 8 PM at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service 11 AM Friday, October 3rd at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Gary Mace officiating. Special music for the service is "When I Get to Where I'm Going" and "Remember When". Memorial contributions may be made to the White Family. Interment to follow at Delhi Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the White family.
