Brenda Kay Hutson

Brenda Kay Hutson of Cuba, Missouri was born on Saturday, October 22, 1955, in Rolla, Missouri to the union of Clarence A. and Alice E. (Stevens) Halbert. She left from this life surrounded by her family at her home on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at the age of 66.

Brenda was united in marriage to Rainey Hutson on May 26, 1990.

Brenda retired from the Crawford County R2 School District as one of the “Lunch Ladies”, after 18 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed flowers, making crafts, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and Criminal Minds on TV. Most of all, she loved spending time with and spoiling her children and grandchildren.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents Clarence A. and Alice E. (Stevens) Halbert; twins Hannah Marie and Adam Lee Hutson.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her husband Rainey Hutson of Cuba; five children Jimmy and wife Courtney Hutson of Sandy, Utah, Renee and husband Bryan Mayhan of Columbia, Sarah and husband Chad Redder of Parker, Colorado, Christy and husband Darrin Harmon of Cuba, Abby Hutson and fiancé Ryan Scholl of St. James; two sisters Gloria and husband George Rathgeber of Cuba, Janet and husband Harlan Honse of St. James; fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two nephews, one niece, nine great-nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Beers, officiating.

Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
