Billie Rosalee Kamm was born Tuesday, January 9, 1923 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Ted Burke and Leah (Nee; Busby) Burke and left from this life on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 85 years 5 months and 25 days. Billie was united in marriage to Arthur H. Kamm on October 20, 1949 at Pocahontas, AR and to this union two daughters were born Debra and Vickie. Billie worked for many years as a floral designer for Theresaé¢éés Flower Shop (located downtown St. Louis at Euclid across the street from the Chase). She was a former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in St. Louis and a current member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign War Post 7147. Billie enjoyed fishing (and she also taught her grandchildren how to fish), golfing, shopping, 5 card pinochle, flowers, rock hunting, rock collecting but what she truly enjoyed most was spending time with her family and friends. Billie was a loving daughter, daughter in law, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, relative and friend to many. Billie is preceded in death by her parents Ted and Leah Burke and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to celebrate a wonderful life lived is her loving husband of nearly 59 years Arthur H. Kamm of the home, two beautiful daughters Debra and husband Buddy Brummet of Cuba, Missouri and Vickie and husband Gary Beach of St. Peters, Missouri, three amazing grandchildren: Michael and wife Stacey Brummet and Michele and husband Kirk Davis all of Cuba and Jesse Beach of St. Peters, Missouri, four great grandchildren: Jordan, Garrett, Maddison and Britnee, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation 5 till 8 PM Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 7147 service will be at 8 PM Sunday, July 6th followed by a Celebration of Life Service at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Interment will be held at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to BJC Hospice in Billieé¢éés memory.
