Bernice Myrtle Lenox

Bernice Myrtle Lenox (nee: Kopp) of St. James, Missouri was born June 15, 1925 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Bernhard Kopp and Matilda (nee: Niere) Kopp and left from this life on Thursday, March 30, 2006 at Rolla, Missouri at the age of 80 years 9 months 15 days. Bernice was united in marriage to Arthur J. Lenox on November 20, 1944 at Muskogee, OK and to this union five children were born; one son Larry, four daughters; Darlene, Kathy, Barbara and Kimberly. Bernice was a loving daughter, wife, mother, mother in law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, sister in law, aunt, cousin and friend and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents Bernhard and Matilda Ropp, her loving husband Arthur J. Lenox, three brothers; Lester, Bernhard and Alvin Kopp, one son in law Roy McInturff and a host of other relatives and friends. Those who survive to mourn her passing from this life are her son Larry Lenox of Rosati, MO, four daughters Darlene McInturff of Bourbon, MO, Kathy and husband Paul Roock of Cuba, MO, Barbara and husband Edward Neise of Rosati, MO, Kimberly and husband of Donald Brown, sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Visitation Sunday April 2nd from 3 to 8 PM at Britton Funeral Home, Cuba. Funeral Service 10:30 AM Monday, April 3rd at Britton Funeral Home, Cuba with Pastor Harrison Brown officiating. Burial followed at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. The family is being served by Britton Funeral Home, Cuba.
