Barbara J. Johanpeter

Barbara J. Johanpeter of Cuba was born to the union of Harold and Nora (Connor) Gee on June 25, 1930 in Phoenix, Arizona and left from this life on Thursday, September 2, 2010 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 80. Barbara was united in marriage to Kenneth Earl Johanpeter on July 9, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union two daughters were born Deborah and Terry. Barbara was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, floral arranging, making crafts, St. Louis Cardinals and spending time with family and friends. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Nora (Connor) Gee; husband Kenneth Earl Johanpeter and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her two daughters Debbie and husband Russ Gassmann of Cuba, Missouri and Terry Walsh of Cuba, Missouri; two grandchildren Jake and wife Kerry Gassmann of Cuba, Missouri and Jessie Gassmann and fianc郃邩 Rob Leonard of Nixa, Missouri; three great-grandchildren Taylor, Kloe and Lilly; one sister Charlotte and husband Richard Pauley of Cuba, Missouri; two nephews Michael and Rick Pauley; two great-nieces Samantha and Caitlyn; one great-nephew Max; caregiver Terry Scott and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 5-8 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 11:00 a.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Interment will follow at Kinder Cemetery. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Johanpeter family.
