Barbara Jean Campbell (Blackwell), 79 of Cuba, passed away, Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Meramec Nursing Center in Sullivan, Missouri.
On August 13, 1944, Barbara was born to the union of Joseph Blackwell Sr. and Marie (Tayoan) in St. Louis, Missouri.
Barbara attended Ritenour High School in Overland, Missouri.
She was united in marriage to Bobbie Campbell Sr. on February 23, 1991, in South Carolina.
Barbara was a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cuba, Missouri.
Barbara worked as an LPN for most of her life before joining her husband Bobbie as his passenger doing trips with his job as a truck driver. When she would find herself back at home away from the road life, she immersed herself and being quite crafty as well as a talented cook and baker. Barbara adored spending time with her family and friends. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marie Blackwell; her husband, Bobbie Campbell Sr.; two sons, Eric Blackwell and Bobbie Campbell Jr.; one brother, Joseph Blackwell Jr.; two sisters, Rebecca White and Judith Sims; one niece, Gina Russo.
Barbara is survived by her nieces, Licia Grayton, Jessica Richardson and Lisa White; great-nieces and nephews, Madasyn Grayton, Gina Russo, Michael Richardson and Ronan Richardson; other relatives and many friends.
A graveside service will be held, Friday, July 26, 2024, at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Cuba, Missouri at 11:00 A.M. with Rite of Committal being offered by Fr. Tony Onyeihe.
