Barbara Ann Bridgeman

Barbara Bridgeman of Thousand Oaks, California was born October 4, 1938 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Clarence and Marie (Nee: Roe) Hill and left from this life surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at her home in Thousand Oaks, California at the of 75 years. Barbara was united in marriage to Bud Bridgeman on June 16, 1956 in Hernando, Mississippi and two this union two children were born Terry and Lisa. Barbara spent her life taking care of her family and home. She enjoyed playing bingo at the casino and bowling. What she truly enjoyed most was spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. Barbara was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Marie Hill and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband of nearly 58 year Bud Bridgeman of Thousand Oaks, California, two children Terry and wife Debra Bridgeman of Cuba and Lisa and husband Chris Dyck of Moore Park, California, three grandchildren Tara and husband Ed Williams of New Kent, Virginia, Robyn Bridgeman of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Zachary Beethem of Moore Park, California, three great grandchildren Johnny, Blair and Gwyneth, sister-in-law Minnie Crider of Bourbon, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, April 25, 2014 from 5:00 till 8:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba with Pastor Bob Knight officiating. Special music will be "Precious Memories" "I'll Fly Away" and "Stroll Across Heaven with You". Interment and prayers will follow at the Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Bridgeman family.
