Audrey Mae Welch

Audrey Mae Welch of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma formerly of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Thomas and Rose (Williams) Floyd on May 26, 1931 in Knoble, Arkansas and left from this life on Saturday, April 16, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 84. Audrey was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling, reading, shopping, quilting, fishing and being outdoors. She could be found every evening watching Wheel of Fortune. The most important part of her life was spending time and spoiling her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild. Audrey is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands Devert H. Melton and John Welch; two brothers Thomas Floyd, Jr. and Alf Floyd; two sisters Kathryn Valenti and Norma Wyllie. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her three children Roger and wife Diann Melton of Cuba, Missouri, Joyce and husband Andy Revelle of Farmington, Missouri, Debi and husband Mohsen Seirafi-Pour of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one step-daughter Amelia and husband Hirsh Wierzbicki; five grandchildren Angie and husband Tony Beers, Sheila Cain and husband Keith Collins, Nick and wife Katie Dixon, Maryam Seirafi-Pour and fiancé Blake White, Max Seirafi-Pour; eight great-grandchildren Tyler, Brittany and Alyssa Filippi, Shawn Cain, Steven and wife Vanessa Cain, Shelby Collins, Christian Dixon, Adalyn McPeters; one great-great-grandson Brantley Cain; three sisters Lena Swain of Park Hills, Missouri, Ina Parks of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Bridgett Presson of Farmington, Missouri; one brother Jerry Floyd of Little Rock, Arkansas; nieces, nephew, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Borders, officiating. Interment will follow at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
