Audrey Ann (Oslin) Field Rich of Cuba, Missouri, formerly of Olympia, Washington, was born Thursday, October 6, 1932 at Kanabec, Minnesota to the union of Alick Fredolph and Gladys Majorie (Nee: Hancock) Oslin and she left from this life on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the age of 89 years, 4 months and 11 days.
Audrey was born and lived as a young girl in Minnesota, until her family moved to Washington State when she was in her teens. In 1954, she was united in marriage to Norman Field. After he passed away, Audrey married Ken Rich and became an Army wife.
They retired in Olympia, Washington, where she worked as a State Employee until she retired in 1999. Audrey enjoyed retirement with sewing, quilting, playing Scrabble, CHOCOLATE, reading, volunteering at the Group Health Clinic, but most of all she loved being with all her family. She had a smile for everyone, even as she started and during her dementia, she always had that sweet smile.
Audrey was a loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great- grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend of many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Alick Fredolph and Gladys Majorie Oslin Stevenson, husbands Norman J. Field and Kenneth H. Rich, siblings Raymond Oslin, Aldon Oslin, Alta McWain; grandson John C. Field and other family and friends.
Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her children; Sherry and husband Cliff Lewis, Jr. of Cuba, John and wife Donna Field of Olympia, Washington, V. Jay and wife Teresa Field of Olympia, Washington, Susan Field of Ogden, Utah, Norman Field of Olympia, Washington and Teresa and husband Ken Gallifent of Appling, Georgia; thirteen grandchildren Cliff III, Dahlia, Erica, Sarah, Chris, Jennifer, Joseph, Scott, Reina, N. Jr, Jordyn, Kenneth and John; twenty-one great grandchildren; brother Gene and wife Kathy Stevenson of Circleville, Ohio, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
In keeping with Audrey’s wishes, she will be cremated.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Bible Baptist Church, 401 Maiden Lane, Cuba, Missouri.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Nate Mowery, officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Audrey’s memory.
