Arnold Charles Terrill of Cuba, Missouri was bon October 6, 1922 at Dent County, Missouri to the union of Charles A. and Virgie (nee: Summers) Terrill and left from this life on September 17, 2008 at Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 85 years 11 months and 9 days. Arnold served in the United States Army Air Force as a Corporal from 19 Jan 1943 until 24 Nov 1945. Arnold was united in marriage to Ruth M. Marten on August 27, 1946 at Fresno, CA and to this union for children were born Mark, Douglas, Barbara and Ann. Arnold retired in 1984 as a concrete finisher from Mullen Concrete in St. Louis, Missouri, after 30 years of dedicated service. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, fishing, squirrel hunting and was an avid Cardinals Baseball fan. He also enjoyed traveling to Montana, Washington, Florida, Arizona and Colorado (just to name a few) to go camping. Arnold also had a great talent for designing something beautiful and then building it out of scraps of wood. But what was always most important to him, was his family and spending time with them. Arnold is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Virgie Terrill and other family members and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy is his loving wife of 62 years Ruth M. Terrill of Cuba, two sons Mark and wife Kim Terrill and Douglas and wife Kathy Terrill all of Wildwood, Missouri, two daughters Barbara and husband Leonard House of Cuba and Ann and husband Allen Rabbermann of Oakville, Missouri, one brother Arnett and wife Patricia Terrill of Fort Meyers, Florida, fifteen amazing grandchildren, 5 precious great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday, September 19th from 5 till 8 PM at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba. Funeral service 10:30 AM Saturday, September 20th at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba with Father James Finder officiating. Special music for the service é¢ééAva Maria, On Eagles Wings and Be Not Afraidé¢éé by Pat Elders and Mary Pounds. Interment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery of Cuba with full military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Arnold's memory. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Terrill family.
