Arlene Shelton

Arlene Shelton (nee: French) of Cuba and formerly of St. Louis was born August 19, 1924 at Avalon Mississippi to the union of Guy C. French and Zora (nee: Pittman) French and left from this life on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 82 years and 23 days. Arlene worked as a nurse's aid for 27 years at Alexian Brothers Hospital in St. Louis. Arlene always enjoyed "the spice of life" to the fullest. Arlene is preceded in death by her parents Guy and Zora and a host of other relatives and friends. Those who are left to mourn her passing from this life are her children; Joe L. Givens, Pat Givens, Stanley Shelton, Guy L. Shelton, Betty Jean Bloomingberg, Shirlene Carter, Linda Shelton and Judy Shelton, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends. Private graveside services were held at Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. The family is being served by Britton Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri.
