Arbell and Ben enjoyed traveling the back roads looking for deer, going to the river to sit on the bank and have supper and setting outside on the front porch watching the world go by. They traveled every year to Arkansas to visit family and made several trips to Florida to visit family also. Arbell treasured the times all of her children were together and she would just sit back and listen to them telling stories. Family gatherings were truly her favorite time of year especially Thanksgivings at the VFW in Leasburg and Christmas when they all played card games together.
