Anthony P. "Tony" Carney

Anthony P. “Tony” Carney of Madison, Illinois was born on October 27, 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Ronald and Patricia (Gilbert) Carney. He leftf rom this life on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Phelps Health in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 57.

Tony attended Granite City Schools. He worked for Kemoll’s Restaurant in St. Louis, FEMA and Marty’s Motors in Madison. He enjoyed fishing, walking, watching sports and spending time with his family and friends.

Tony is preceded in death by his father Ronald Carney.

Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy are his loving mother Patricia and husband Pete Fecurka of Cuba, Missouri; wife Karen Carney of Madison, Illinois; two sisters Patricia and husband David Jackson of Caseyville, Illinois, Melissa Taylor of Cuba, Missouri; one brother Ronnie Carney of Cuba, Missouri; uncle Ricky Gilbert of Granite City, Illinois; niece Kendall Taylor of Steelville, Missouri; nephew Kyle Bono of Columbia, Missouri; aunt, uncles, cousins and many friends.

In keeping with his wishes, Tony was cremated. No services are planned at this time.
