Annie P. Hutchcraft of Cuba, Missouri was born Sunday, August 18, 1935 at Nashville, Illinois to the union of John and Maggie (Nee: Majewski) Palucki. She went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at her home in Cuba at the age of 83 years. Annie retired in 1997, after forty-four years of dedicated service, from Frito Lay as a production worker in the pretzel factory. Annie spent her forty-two years working nearly seven days a week. She believed in "saving for a rainy day". She enjoyed going to the river, floating, camping and just being outdoors. Her flower gardens and vegetable gardens were always beautiful. After moving to Cuba twenty-two years ago she became a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church and she enjoyed being able to walk around town. Family was always the most important part of Annie's life. Reading to her grandchildren and camping with her children was what she loved to do in her spare time. Annie was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Maggie Palucki, two brothers; Martin Palucki and Johnnie Palucki, one sister Regina Raymo and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving children; Kathleen Hutchcraft of Cuba, Rocky Hutchcraft of Cuba and Randy and wife Claudia Hutchcraft of St. Louis, four amazing grandchildren; Annie R. Hutchcraft an husband Eric Eason of Cuba, Stephen and wife Misty Hutchcraft of St. James, Paola of St. Louis and Elizabeth of Mascoutah, Illinois, four perfect great grandchildren; Gabriel Hutchcraft of Cuba, Ryder Hutchcraft of St. James, Piper Hutchcraft of St. James and Amara Eason Hutchcraft of Cuba, one sister Irene Lashley of St. Louis, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 415 W. School Street, Cuba with Father David Veit as the celebrant. Interment and prayers will follow at the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Hutchcraft family.
