Anita Louise Ziegler

Anita Louise Ziegler of Owensville, Missouri was born to the union of William M. and Jessie L. (Huff) Green on March 17, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri and left from this life on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 67. Anita was united marriage to William Henry Ziegler on July 5, 1966 in Union, Missouri and to this union one son was born Keith Ziegler. Anita worked several years for Meramec Shoe Company in Union, Missouri and later she was an Independent Sewing Contractor for the Children's Factory in Union, Missouri. She was a member of the American Kennel Club and enjoyed being a Boxer Breeder. She was an avid bingo player and loved being at the river, fishing, camping, but spending time with her family and friends was the most important part of her life. Anita is preceded in death by her parents William M. and Jessie L. (Huff) Green; one son Keith Ziegler; one brother Samuel M. Green. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her husband William Henry Ziegler; two grandchildren Jessica and husband Timmy Holland and Jake Ziegler; three great-grandchildren James, Jayden and Keith Holland all of Owensville, Missouri; two brothers Kenneth L. Green of Union, Missouri and William "Bill" Green of St. Louis, Missouri; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2014 4:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home. She will be cremated following the visitation and funeral service. The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Ziegler family.
