Anissa M. Dunham

Anissa M. Dunham of Cuba, Missouri was born on Wednesday, March 6, 1974, in Houston, Missouri to the union of Hershel R. and Judy (Ives) Light. She left this life suddenly on Monday, May 8, 2023, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan at the age of 49.

Anissa was married to Michael Dunham on September 25, 2004, at Maramec Springs Park in St James, Missouri. To this union one amazing daughter was born Hannah.

Anissa was a Sonographer at Mercy Clinic in Sullivan for sixteen years. She always took great care of her patients and was a beloved coworker. She enjoyed taking vacations, cooking, baking and was the best party planner. She loved being a wife, mother, and spending time with her family.

Anissa was preceded in death by her father Hershel R. Light, mother-in-law Shirley June Dunham.  

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband Michael Dunham; daughter Hannah Dunham both of Cuba; mother Judy Light of Steelville; sister Angela (Jack) Uxa of Osage Beach; father-in-law David Dunham of Sweay City, Iowa; sister-in-law Lisa (Jeff) Knight of Riverview, Florida; brother-in-law JD (Jolene) Dunham of Lawrence, Kansas; nieces Lily and Daisy Uxa, Addison Dunham, nephews Billy and Dalton Ryan, Jarrett Knight; aunts, uncles, cousins, coworkers and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Darla Buettner officiating.

Interment will follow at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
